This will be Marshall's fourth season as the head JV coach after being an assistant to Coach Ogata for four seasons. Marshall grew up in Kirkland, WA and attended Juanita High School, where he played basketball for the Rebels. He would later go on to play at Westmont College where he dominated the intramural league by averaging 14.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and .001 blocks per game over his 4 seasons. However, much like the Buffalo Bills of the 90's, Marshall's intramural team made it to the championship game 4 years in a row but could never snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Marshall lives on Mercer Island with his beautiful wife and '99 grad of MIHS, Emily. The couple has three amazing little boys, Tucker (5), Bennett (almost 3) and their newest addition, Wesley. Marshall's full time job is with Young Life, which is a Christian organization that works with high school and middle school kids. A recent highlight of his job was taking over 50 students from Mercer Island to Malibu Club in British Columbia to enjoy the best week of their lives!
