Dear Friends and Family of MI Boys Basketball:

Mercer Island Boys Basketball Booster Club is dedicated to promoting basketball programs and activities for boys K-12 and providing them with the opportunities to learn and develop basketball skills and enjoy the game. We engage community members, players, and coaches who are passionate about basketball and create opportunities for our youth to pursue their passions to the fullest degree possible. We organize competitive league play and tournaments locally and out of town, makes it easier for players to participate and travel and arranges for knowledgeable coaches.

We rely on generosity of community to raise money that we invest in all facets of the program to provide a rich and meaningful experience and opportunities to boys at all grade and skill levels. We raise money primarily through membership and annual Auction & Dinner event. The money is spent as follows:

• Scholarships All league/tournament fees, traveling costs for players with financial hardships
• Equipment Video editing equipment & Software, cameras, DVDs, Basketballs
• Coach Development Clinics, Training material and aids, Training (high school & youth coaches)
• Coach Travel Primarily for Holiday and Reno trips (high school and youth players)
• Misc Subsidies Conditioning Program, Summer Camps, Off Season Leagues, etc.
• Administration Website, Tax returns, etc.

To become or continue to be part of the Islander Basketball tradition please complete the 2011 Membership Form and return it to the address shown there with your check payable to MIBBBC. Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent permissible under the law. If your employer matches gifts to non-profit organizations please enclose a Matching Gift form.

Membership is offered at the following levels. All levels include recognition in and a copy of Basketball Program Guide.

* Family Pass is good for 2 adults and any K-8 children living in same household
