Coach Cree and his staff offer 6 camps to players entering grades 1-12 who are looking
to improve thier games. There will be four Comprehensive Skills camps open to all players and two Special Skills camps open to players entering grades 5 through 8. The two special skill camps are limited to the first 30 players to register. Register

Coach Cree will be running these camps with the help of the high school and youth coaching staff along with several former Islander players and coaches. Camper-to-coach ratio is typically 8:1 or less. Come out and learn to play Islander Basketball.
All the grades are Entering Grades in Fall 2012.
Camps are held at Mercer Island High School (MIHS) and Islander Middle School (IMS)
Players of all abilities can participate in Camps 1 thru 4.
Participant in Camps 5 and 6 must have completed at least one of the Camps 1- 4 this year.
All participants will receive a camp T-shirt and those in grades 1-8 will also receive a basketball.
Prizes will be handed out for competition winners and camper of the day/week.
A cancellation fee of $10 will apply. No refunds will be made after the camp start date.

The 6th Grade Mercer Island ETL Boys team set record by going undefeated through the entire season, ETL playoffs and WESCO tournament. The team won all 15 league games during their regular ETL season, earning them the top seed for the ETL playoffs. They won the ETL Championship with three consecutive wins over Woodinville, Puyallup and Juanita.
The team then was one of four ETL teams to represent the League in the WESCO/ETL Feeder Bowl tournament, a Ryder Cup style tournament featuring the top four teams at each grade level. The team continued their dominance defeating all four WESCO teams (Monroe, Stanwood, Kings and Marysville) in the tournament. The team finished the season with a 22 - 0 record.
The 6th Grade Mercer Island Select Youth Basketball Team includes: Front Row (l to r) Nathan Hillard, Hunter Bauman, Alex Platou, Matt Boissoneault, Greg Fuchs and Will Hamilton. Back Row (l to r) Assistant Coach John Shaddle, Reid Martinez, Justin Ho, Giovanni Rocha, Griffin Emanuels, Parker Simpson, Ethan Eason and Head Coach David Loutsis.
The team will play in late March in a Eugene, Oregon tournament, where they will be coached by MIHS Head Varsity Coach Gavin Cree and 6th Grade Head Coach, David Loutsis.
